Last night I was watching episodes of Damages and hanging with the hubs. Nice quiet night in with the fam. I was feeling a bit of discomfort in my breasts and had been for a few days. They were sore but I just chalked it up to meaning I was about to start my cycle. Then something made me look at "the girls" and I noticed my left nipple had an extra bump on it. It was raised so it was noticeable to the eye, it was about the size of a dime, and it was hard.
I panicked. I googled. I found a few possible causes for the bump. What an inopportune time to find it. At almost 11pm at night and the evening before a holiday weekend. This was of course confirmed when I called my gyno's office this morning only to get their answering service. UGH, I hate that. So now I have to wait till Monday before I can call and make an appointment. I hope they can get me in fast. I was reading up on treatments for cysts (if that's what it is) and it says that some get it aspirated.. and that's just plain fucking scary. Any advice while I wait it out?

I don't have any advice, but wanted to let you know I'll be thinking of you! Good luck! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI have never had a cyst before but I would try not to panic, especially if there's nothing you can do until Monday. All I know is to look out for other symptoms. Are you running a fever? Do you feel unusually nauseous? Blood in your urine? Things like that. If nothing else is different, then take a deep breathe and tell yourself there's no use worrying until you're given something to worry about. <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Ladies.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any other weird symptoms which is good. I'll try to take those deep breaths Brooke. :)
