Just Bust a Move

Last night's couple night was a lot of fun. We arrived shortly after 8pm and didn't leave their house till 4:30am! That's like 8 1/2 hours of FUN. Can you imagine? It's like a work day for me and then a couple hours more! The hubs and I both slept in late and it was quite a tiring day but worth it for the good times we spent with friends.

Here's how the night went down. For food we decided to order pizza, J made cherry vanilla fudge, and I made spinach dip with cucumber slices. We played Taboo, Band Hero, Lips Party Classics, and The Beatles Rock Band. My friend and I loved to sing more than trying our hand at playing the guitar. They guys didn't really want to sing and wanted to stick with the guitar. It all kind of worked out because we got to do what we wanted to do.

When we did the Beatles game I had to sing all the easy and most known songs because I don't know many Beatles songs. I have to say i've never been a Beatles fan. Everybody else was pretty familiar with the music. There were a couple of songs that people were straight avoiding because either they sang too high or the song was too fast. I decided to sing "I am the Walrus" even though I don't know the song other than the "Goo Goo Ga Joob" part. Let me tell you it was pretty hilarious. I did fine and the parts that I messed up on I just straight hummed. LOL At the end there were lyrics that we didn't have to sing for points but I did it anyways. I was in stitches from laughing so hard chanting

"Oompah, oompah, stick it in your jumper/Everybody's got one, everybody's got one."

Cause I mean, seriously what in the holy HALE? It was quite a hilarious song to attempt to sing. Go me!

After that I tried my dancing skills at Just Dance for the Wii. Of course I danced to impress (I catch on quickly). The scores to beat on the game were those of my friend's two young children. I told her that her kids were going to come home from their grandma's only to find someone beat their high score! Is that terrible of me? haha Sorry kiddies but this chica is kind of competitive. We'll just have to hold a dance off one day!
