Speeding, Shopping, Hauling

Being that this is the last week of work/school, thing's should be going smooth, amirite? I was deceived by a relatively smooth day at work. As soon as I leave I get pulled over by a motorcycle cop. First off, I admit I was speeding a little. My bad. But second, that radar gun was WAY off! He says he clocked me in at 51mph in a 35 when I know I was going 45. I wanted to tell him that his radar was dead wrong but I hear that just pisses them off more. So as I took off, ticket in hand, I called J to tell him of the news. This whole mess almost ruined my day.

After I drop off my portfolio of work at the university I decide a little retail therapy was in order. I have a 20% discount for Ulta in my hand and money to burn. I find the nail polishes i've been looking for. Ooooh, they're so perty!



I also picked up a lip gloss gift set for my friend Melissa and a few more items for myself. Urban Decay eyeliner in Zero, Stila gel liner in Kitten, and then the BIG score of the day. The near impossible to find NAKED palette from Urban Decay!!







In an hour i'll be heading over to J's work Christmas party. They do the same thing every year which is a prime rib dinner that's cooked for us by the local Coor's company. This used to be a time when J could show me off to his co-workers. Trophy Wife, holla! No, just kidding. But apparently J does talk a lot about me at work so i've had tons of people who want to meet me and see what their manager's wife looks like. Curiosity killed the cat. Don't be afraid i'm not that scary looking.
