It Snowed

Today I am enjoying our very first snow day off from work. I got my call around 5:45am but for some reason wasn't able to immediately fall back asleep. It's been super cold here but we've not had the amounts of snow that other regions have had until yesterday when it started to snow around 11am and went through the night. The roads were so bad last night that my stepdad ended up bringing the hubs home from work at midnight last night because they didn't want me going out which I was really thankful for.

This Saturday is the Sweetheart Dance and i'm hoping that the weather isn't bad. I mean, I have 5 inch heels to walk in!! We're both really excited for it. Last Friday my friend went with me to the mall to go dress hunting. I ended up finding a dress that was flattering. The only thing I was kind of disappointed was that I didn't find a dress with color. This one is black and greyish. Our clothing selection is horrid. There wasn't much to choose from but I found a dress and that's all that matters.

Something i'm loving a lot lately? Ollie is being super sweet and loving instead of being a devil cat.

    it doesn't snow around my neck of the woods, but i feel gets extremely cold. good luck and hopefully you get to wear your heels :D

    In the future you can play with a black dress with some bright accessories...I'm thinking wild shoes!
