Counterproductive

As of right now i've been at my mother's for 5 hours. She's gone so I came over to do some laundry and study for my Biology II exam. I brought Elliott to keep me company and because I didn't want him to be alone at the house when he could be here with his mama. He had a lot of fun running out back and chasing the dog next door alongside the fence. I took a few photos with the Instagram app I downloaded today.


Tired and cooling himself off on the cold kitchen tiles.


Later he chose to rest on the back of the couch behind me while I studied.

I did a pretty good job of keeping on task when I first got here and managed to get through one chapter fairly easy. I read through it and then filled out the handout for it. Then I decided I needed a break and a treat so I headed over to Starbucks. Surely a coffee would perk me up and help me zoom through the next two chapters I needed to get through. I picked up a red velvet whoopie pie because it looked delish when Abby posted about it. Oh and it was delicious and my iced coffee hit the spot.



After a while I guess the caffeine hit but instead of feeling super productive I felt unable to sit and concentrate on reading my next chapter! This coffee so did not do what I was hoping it would. BOOOOOOO! I figured I would get online for a bit and try to get out some of my "energy" in writing a journal entry. At least i'll get productive points for updating my journal, but alas that second chapter is still not read.
