Mr. Kitty, the kitty in question.
So i'm fairly new to being a cat owner. Never liked cats before because one attacked me as a child and my mother hated them so obviously I hated them too! I meet J and find out he has a cat. It was weird to me for a guy to own a cat and also I thought about how my crazy dog Elliott and Kitty would handle being near each other. This did not sound like a good happy ending here people.
Well this Cat forced his way into my life. The first time I saw him he walked down the hall staring at only me and I freaked out telling J, "Your cat is staring at me!" Next thing I knew he had jumped up on my lap, got comfortable and laid down. "What do I do now?" I asked J trying not to breath. For all I knew this cat would look up at me and try and claw my eyes out. "You pet him of course," said J.
So since we moved in together I have learned that cats hump. I would find one of my favorite throws that lays on the couch in weird places. Sometimes it would be in the middle of the living room floor, sometimes in the hallway, occasionally in the bathroom and honestly this left me confused until J told me that Kitty enjoys humping blankets.
Video evidence (not my cat though)
For the past three nights I have found my favorite throw in the hallway and in the bathroom. Last night I heard him making noises, loud crying noises and then a sound that signified a finish because after that it was quiet. I get up this morning and find my throw half in the hallway and half in the bathroom stretched out from where he dragged it. What a freaky cat!

HAHA Love the title and this is so funny! He is so cute! I was the same way about cats but Ronnie loves them so I had to deal :p
ReplyDeleteYeah Kitty definitely won my heart over. And it was MY idea to rescue Ollie so.. I guess I have turned into a cat person. (Although my heart lies totally with dogs, Boston Terriers to be exact!)
ReplyDeleteSam Has his own pillow. a strawberry shortcake pillow at that. and he will try to hump any blanket /pillow/stuffed animals left unattended
ReplyDeleteShadow never did that. and neither did duke (our dog we used to have )
Crazy things.
@Nichole ha, Ollie hasn't picked this up yet. Elliott, he enjoys humping my leg. He used to attack me nightly.
ReplyDeleteThat is so strange - I've never seen that!
ReplyDeleteI've caught him at it a few times but he mostly does it while we sleep.
