She passed away Sunday evening. Thank goodness J was with me. Even though I was kind of a mess Saturday night waiting for some sort of news J was at work and I was all alone. Sunday he had off and was there for me just like I was for him when he lost his Nana. We went up to the home in which she died and I went in to say goodbye to her. Some family arrived and we all hugged each other tightly. The photo I am sharing is one that a lot of family members didn't know existed. One of my cousin's posted it on facebook and everyone snatched it up. Right now my all of my family's profile pictures on facebook are of ones of our beloved grandmother.
She lived a very long life. I can't remember how old she is but I think either 90 or 91 and she had 12 children which makes for a very large family. We will bury her on Thursday in a little town where she raised her children. It will be a very sad day.
