Blog Award: Stylish Blogger

I was tagged by Jess from You Are My Color for this Stylish Blogger award. Sweet! Thanks love! (Psst! By the way, she has a giveaway going on so go check it out!) Since I don't have much of a following i'm going to tag... YOU! Whoever is reading this and hasn't already been tagged. Now lets see if I can think of 7 things about me that I haven't already used before in other tags.

1. I am the oldest of three. My brothers are three years younger than me and they are identical twins. My "little" brother's will be 27 in June!! Awww.... that almost makes me feel older more than the fact that i'll be.... GULP... 30 next month.

2. Growing up I was a HUGE Backstreet Boys fan.

And what sucked was that none of my friends were into boybands like I was. I had no one to share my crazy obsession with. I've seen them a total of 4 times in concert.
In Dallas, TX for the Backstreet's Back Tour.
Again in Dallas for the Into the Millennium Tour.
And in San Antonio, TX for the Black & Blue Tour as well as in Phoenix, AZ.

Next show I will be seeing them is the NKOTBSB Tour with the New Kids on the Block in June in Dallas!

3. My favorite was AJ McLean and when I lived in Orlando, FL, when I worked for Disney, we went to visit one of my friends who worked in the Magic Kingdom. One of my friends pointed out, "Hey, isn't that AJ from the Backstreet Boys?" And I freaked out because it was him. Of course I wanted to go up to him but I was terrified but I knew if I didn't do it i'd regret it for the rest of my life. So I went up to him as he was having a smoke break and said hello and asked if I could take a picture with him. He jumped up from the bench and was like sure! He was real nice and even put his arm around me but I was freaking out so bad inside I just stood there stiff as a board. lol

4. Where I live Oprah relocated to briefly because she was being sued in 1998. She went to court in the day and did her show in the evening. I took a day off from school and actually sat in the courtroom with her. When they took a break we went to the bathroom where Oprah was and she said, "Hi Ladies!" I was surprised by how big she was. I don't mean fat I mean... Oprah is a big boned woman and she's tall (well i'm 5'4). After that I left because it was pretty boring lol Where i'm having my birthday party is where Oprah stayed when she was here. We're staying in her room. ;)

5. Wonder when it was that I feel in love with Boston Terriers? To be honest I don't even remember laying my eyes on a Boston before and i'm not sure I remember if I even knew they existed. It's more likely one of those cases of being more aware of them after you get one. Anyhow, we used to have a schnauzer named Ice Cube and he was getting kind of old. When I moved to Orlando for my internship and he passed away while I was gone. My brother ended up getting another dog and her name was Bellah. She was a mix of possibly a chihuahua and a Boston Terrier. When I came home I fell in love with her and it softened the blow of losing Ice Cube. Later on when I moved to Albuquerque I decided I wanted a dog of my own and it HAD to be a Boston Terrier.

6. I am a new country music fan. I think I probably allowed myself to be open to it sometime last year. Now I can't get enough. The radio station I mainly listen to now is one of the local country music stations and i've even bought my first few country CDs. My dad would be proud of me. A lot of the songs remind me of my dad and I think that is what mostly made me lean toward it.

7. I am a control freak when it comes to driving. I can get road rage and I am probably the worst backseat driver (or so says my husband). I get upset sometimes when he takes routes that I wouldn't take because I know the short cuts or the faster ways. This is probably why i'm usually the one who always drives us around. I cart the husband around town. Even when we go out of town on roadtrips and in the big cities I do the driving.
