Needing a Breather

It's been a while but i've been fairly busy. I am almost done with this semester of school and done with this year of work. YAY! First thing's first news wise... we've been having the WORST luck trying to get a car for the Hubs. Two of the cars we were interested we got the run around from the dealerships. That kind of soured us a bit so then when we gave up on those avenues for a bit and went to look at a car my mom spotted for sale at a credit union. She didn't let us know about it until after hours on Friday so when Monday rolled around and I called about it I was told that it was vandalized over the weekend. Someone broke into it and took it for a joy ride that ended in it crashing. See, worse luck right here. We were getting pretty frustrated since it has already been two months getting by with only one car. Saturday we finally found the one!



Now that we've got a new car and thing's seem to be going good we decided to go on a little roadtrip this weekend to Albuquerque. We're going to stay one night at my stepsister's and then the other night at a nice hotel. Oh Friday we're planning on going to a double feature of Monty Python. I know the Hubs is a big fan so this is something he's excited about. Otherwise i'm thinking shopping, good food, and spending time with old friends. That's what it's all about.
