Real Connections

It was really nice to have a short week two weeks in a row. We were off today not because of Good Friday but because it was a saved snow day which we didn't use. Last night I went out with a friend I haven't seen in about two years. That's pretty sad I know but I love how we can get together and reconnect just like time never passed. We got together for drinks and even did a bit of karaoke. This is something new I learned about my friend.. she has a good voice! I only went up to sing because she went with me but it was a fun rush.

Getting things in order for my birthday party. Little by little we've bought things like the paper plates, napkins, bottled water, and sodas. I really hope this birthday turns out good because i'm always used to planning things with little to no people show up and this is supposed to be a special occasion.
