Condensed Amanda Soup

I'm pretty exhausted right now. The only thing that's stopped me from going to bed early about two hours ago was the fact that I have to pick up the hubs in an hour from work. /SIGH This car situation HAS GOT TO change. Such an inconvenience for us both as well as my mom who helps us a lot with rides. My mom though is so awesome she's so willing to help and be flexible with us. I don't know what we'd do without her constant support and help.

This weekend was actually rather busy compared to my normal weekends. Friday we took my mother-in-law grocery shopping. We bought a bunch of junk which was mostly done by me. I kept seeing things I wanted. OOH! Cheez-its! OOH! Green chili dip (which is amazing btw, try it if your grocer sells it). OOH! Clear fruit punch (actually that was the hub's impulse purchase)! I wasn't really interested in real food even though J did manage to grab some hamburger meat and canned veggies but otherwise it wasn't healthy food food stuff. Saturday I went and had lunch with my dad at Olive Garden. Later around five I went to my cousin's where she was having a little get together for the baby. After that I headed out to meet my friend for her birthday dinner. We ate and then decided to forgo movie night and head to a bar for some karaoke. She finally got up the nerves to sing and so did I. The place was pretty much dead which is why I was feeling brave otherwise you wouldn't catch me up there with a bunch of strangers as my audience.

I got home after 2am but stayed up for an extra hour munching on my Cheez-its and surfing the net. It was then that I got the idea that I wanted to go to church the next morning. My brightest ideas are at the wee hours of the morning. J and I both made it surprising my mom since I haven't been to church in.. oh really who knows when. I was really happy that I went and I felt really good too because of it. At four, after I had dropped J off at work, I went to my God Daughter's birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. That place is super crazy and nothing but chaos. My baby girl turned 4 and she had a Justin Bieber themed cake. I'll have to share some pictures later because I haven't gotten around to uploading the photos yet. Well except for the one I took on my phone here.

Funny part of the party was the cake cutting/serving. My God Daughter said she wanted to eat Justin Bieber's hair so they had to cut a piece out of the head for her. haha
