This girl needs to seriously get out of town. I'm tired of the same thing every weekend and the same people. I know Spring Break is only two weeks away however J will be working so it's not like we can take an actual vacation. I wish he'd get a weekend off sometime soon so we can take off to Albuquerque. I miss living there and I miss my family and friends. When we go we always try to hit up some of my favorite places to eat as well as new ones. Honestly we plan our vacations AROUND eating. Food is the highlight usually. Another thing that we always do, no matter where we go, is look up their local comic book shops. J has to check them all out. We've been to three in the Dallas area and two in Albuquerque.

We did have plans to go to Vegas for the first time later this year to attend a wedding of a friend of J's. I have the money all saved up too, however, since J's car is no longer functional (not really anyways) we need to think about getting him a new(er) car. All of the tax return money we're getting plus what I did have saved up is going to a car for him. It really sucks because I wanted, well I mean we both wanted, to go to Vegas. As usual something always comes up to take our saved money away. And so it goes.
Oh I'm sorry to hear about the car troubles and having to spend that $, I know that's gotta suck :( But it will all work out and y'all will be able to take a vacay soon! And don't forget, you can always swing down to SA for a change of scenery ;)
ReplyDeleteI completely feel you on being tired with the same thing every weekend. Things need to be shaken up every once in a while to keep us sane! And it's always a nice feeling to go home. =)
ReplyDeleteVegas would be amazing! Hopefully you'll get a good deal on a car and still be able to afford it. Don't get discouraged about it yet!
